This is a work I did for FH Salzburg (University of Applied Sciences). The task was to create a creature art by using following steps:
Drawing a sketch of a creature -> modelling the creature in Zbrush / Mudbox -> rendering the Creature -> drawing over the rendering and creating a background.
First Update: I decided to rework the creature for my portfolio, giving it a lot more dangerous features and details, removing the leather wings on it's arm, filling the stone with lava and adding a lot of environment objects.
Second Upadate: With feedback of my concept art teacher, I reworked the drawing a second time, giving it more focus, tons of atmospheric effects and other details.. I guess I'll also rework some of my newer artworks with these techniques
